FLAMENCO JOY
CULTURAL & educational

Flamenco Joy is an Education Movement which supports children and communities contributing to the creation of a better world as regards people’s emotional well-being through Mindfulness, Meditation, Mindset, storytelling, Spanish language acquisition and Flamenco Joy Dance.
Flamenco Joy aims to create a better world where every child has the right to be happy, to feel loved and safe, to have a family and a home, and to be educated.
We created projects and opportunities for children and young people in the UK and for vulnerable children, such as orphans and street children and communities in Africa and India. We help them to deal with shyness and anxiaty to be more focused, creative and self-confident learners. We also teach Spanish as a second language encoraging children to speak Spanish from first class. And we finish always our projects teaching children how to express their creativity through music and dance.

This activities will benefit the community by providing informal learning and peer group expression and confidence, which include issues such as social interaction, clean language and thinking, as well as promoting a more relaxed approach to embracing personal development. The inclusion of Spanish language and culture will also promote diversity, inclusion, and expanded thinking for those involved in the sessions and will encourage embracing of another culture. We will use Flamenco Joy dance, as inspiration, mixing with dancing in a contemporary and a modern way, to also introduce the idea of physical wellbeing through innovative and playful exercise to complement the mental side of health, wellbeing, and positive mindset. Such interactive sessions will reduce isolation and strengthen community bonds amongst the engaged beneficiaries

Flamenco Joy Cultural Events for elderly residents and citizens in London will promote physical wellbeing and learning, casual interaction and conversation in Spanish through socialisation. This activity benefit the community by giving elderly residents participating in the programme the opportunity to improve physical exercise, cardio- respiratory health, improving memory, muscular endurance and mental health through the dance activity. Further benefits include social interaction with other people in the classes, increased motivation and vitality. An additional benefit will be the health and wellbeing that comes from cultural enrichment in learning about the culture of flamenco and Spanish language.
Combined physical and mental wellbeing will help in reducing depression and loneliness. People will also develop more positive relationships contributing to more qualitative daily life and a lesser vulnerability to lower levels of health and immunity.

Charity-Education-cuLture
Believe In You Project inspires and transforms many children’s lives who without our help would be relegated to a world of exploitation and poverty. Believe In You Charity aims to contribute to the creation of a better world, focusing on educating the world’s children, promoting peace and emotional well-being and helping communities. We have delivered cultural projects in Uganda and India suporting orphanages, schools, NGOs and communities

We visualized this project to help children worldwide. Many children around the world who attend and finish primary school do not know how to read and write and thus miss out on the opportunity to learn. If children cannot develop their potential, they are more likely to be trapped in cycles of poverty, poor health and forced labour, often in dangerous environments. To take the project to the next level, we are creating a new organisation called Believe In You Academy CIC.

The company’s activities will provide benefit to the disadvantaged, or under-privileged and special needs children/young people/single mothers or women in abusive and dysfunctional relationships/ people with mental health support needs/ and elderly residents/ living in the UK, predominantly in the London area. In addition to those people, the CIC aims to contribute to communities and international cooperation agencies in areas where there is deprivation, lack of education and poor access to health.
Believe In You Academy CIC has already established projects to collaborate in Uganda, Ghana, Angola, South Africa, New Delhi, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Peru and Andalucia. Beneficiaries in London will be those identified by Local Authority services or referring support agencies (i.e., children social care, adult social care, mental health, homeless support agencies) as being vulnerable and requiring support, and we are open to other international projects to facilitate and promote the sum of efforts and actions between civil society, state agencies and international cooperation agencies.
